TERMS OF SERVICE

What this covers (and what it doesn’t)

These terms apply to texasvenom.org and to accounts you create here. They are the house rules for the website — not for practices, games, carpools, or sideline debates. Player paperwork, the Code of Conduct, and participant waivers live with the rest of our organizational policies.

By signing in or creating an account (email or Google), you agree to this page. If you don’t, that’s fine — please don’t make an account.

Grown-ups only

Accounts are for adults: parents, guardians, coaches, volunteers, and other folks helping the Foundation. Players do not need their own login. If you are under 18, ask a parent or guardian to create the account.

Your login

Keep your password to yourself. You are responsible for what happens under your account. If something looks off, tell us. We can suspend or close an account that is fake, abusive, or used to mess with other families. This is a youth baseball org, not a comment section.

Please don’t be that person

Use the site for its actual job. Don’t:

• Try to break, scrape, flood, or hack the site
• Pretend to be someone else
• Harass people or pick fights in our tools
• Copy private player information (photos, birthdays, medical notes, documents) and share it where it doesn’t belong
• Upload malware, spam, or anything illegal

Do those things and we will shut the account down without a long debate. Youth sports already has enough drama.

The site itself

Rosters, stats, photos, and pages can be incomplete or change. We try to keep things accurate; we do not promise the site is error-free or always online. Content you send through the site (feedback, profile details, photos you upload) may be used by the Foundation to run the program. Player photos follow the Privacy Policy and each family’s media-consent setting.

Other companies

Sign-in may go through Amazon Cognito and Google. Links may send you to Facebook, YouTube, or other places we don’t control. Their rules apply over there.

If something breaks

The website is provided “as is.” We are a volunteer-powered nonprofit, not a software company with a 24/7 helpdesk. To the fullest extent Texas law allows, North Texas Venom Foundation is not liable for downtime, lost passwords, or internet nonsense related to this site.

If a court decides we owe you money because of the website, that amount will not exceed one hundred dollars ($100). The baseball field is a different conversation — that’s what the waivers are for.

Texas

These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Texas, without regard to conflict-of-law rules. If we ever have to sort something out in court, venue is Dallas County, Texas, unless the law requires otherwise.

Updates

If we change this, we’ll post the new version here with a new date. Using the site after that means you accept the update. Questions: privacy@texasvenom.org.
